About this role
Midas is hiring a Shipping & Carrier Operations Coordinator to support a fast-growing US-based 3PL (third-party logistics) company. You’ll be the main point of contact between the company and shipping carriers such as GOFO, USPS and DHL. You’ll resolve day-to-day shipment issues, file claims for lost or damaged packages, and make sure problems get fixed quickly and followed through to the end.
This isn’t a call center role and it isn’t about reading from a script. Every day brings different problems, and your job is to understand each one, communicate clearly with the right people, keep everything organized and act on it promptly. You’ll also work with the internal team, join meetings with vendors and help serve clients. If you take ownership, work well without being micromanaged and want to learn how shipping and fulfillment work in the US, this role is for you.
Working hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM US Pacific Time (9:00 PM to 4:00 AM Bangladesh time), five days a week, fully remote.

Responsibilities
Role ownership- Communicate with shipping carriers such as GOFO, USPS and DHL by phone, email and online portals to resolve daily shipment issues
- Investigate delayed, lost, damaged or misrouted packages and follow up until each case is resolved
- File and track claims for lost or damaged shipments, and make sure every claim is followed through to the end
- Keep a clear, organized record of open issues, carrier communications, claims and outcomes
- Work with the internal team to understand priorities and act on them promptly
- Join meetings with vendors and carriers, take notes and follow up on action items
- Support clients by keeping them informed about shipment issues and how they’re being resolved
- Spot recurring problems and raise them with the team so they can be prevented
- Take on other operational tasks as the company’s needs change
Requirements
Candidate fit- Excellent spoken and written English, with a near-native or clear, neutral accent. You should be comfortable on calls with US carriers, vendors and clients, and confident leading those conversations.
- Strong problem-solving skills. You can understand an issue quickly, work out who needs to be contacted, and push it to a resolution.
- Clear, organized communication. You keep track of open cases, follow-ups and conversations across emails, calls and chats, and nothing slips through the cracks.
- A strong sense of ownership. When a problem lands with you, you treat it as yours until it’s solved.
- Able to work independently. This role can’t be micromanaged, so you need to manage your own priorities and act without waiting to be told.
- A go-getter attitude, with the drive to follow up persistently until you get an answer
- Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to research, draft, summarize and work more efficiently
- Eager to learn. You’ll pick up a lot about US shipping, carriers and 3PL operations on the job.
- Available to work 8 00 AM to 4:00 PM US Pacific Time (9:00 PM to 4:00 AM Bangladesh time)
- A reliable computer, stable internet and a quiet setup suitable for calls
- Experience working with US companies in a similar operations, logistics, customer support or coordination role is preferred. It isn’t mandatory if your English is excellent and you’re eager to learn and grow.
- Experience with shipping, logistics, e-commerce or 3PL operations is a plus
- Call center or customer support experience is appreciated, especially if it involved solving problems rather than following a script
